Wednesday Devotion: Gospel Multiplication

Do you ever feel like you're running on a hamster wheel - working hard but not getting anywhere? I've been there. We put in the effort, doing our best and even accomplishing great things now and then. But at the end of the day, we're still stuck in the same place, faced with the same mountains we've been trying to move for ages.

I used to think if I just worked harder or longer, eventually I'd see the results I was hoping for. But here's the thing - we were never meant to do it alone. God is standing there with arms open wide, waiting for us to invite Him into the equation.

When we partner with God, everything changes. Suddenly, our efforts are multiplied exponentially! Instead of just adding to our results, God takes our humble offerings and magnifies them beyond what we could ever achieve alone.

Let me put it in mathematical terms. On our own, doing two great works a month, after a year we'd have 24 to show for it. Not bad, but nothing compared to what happens when God gets involved. When God multiplies our efforts, those two great works become thousands upon thousands!

Why do we leave God out and try to go it alone? Maybe we feel self-reliant. Or we think God is too busy with bigger things. But here's the truth - God is capable of anything, yet He chooses to use us! We are His hands, His feet, His agents of change.

There's power in partnering with God. But we can't just pray and expect Him to do all the work. And we can't just work hard while leaving Him out of it. Real change happens when prayer and action come together. When we bring our best efforts to God and make room for Him to multiply them, mountains move!

God is ready and waiting for us to let Him in. What could happen if we allowed Him to multiply our efforts today?
