21 Days of Fasting & Prayer Devotional – Day 19: Strength

Fasting can be a humbling experience that reminds us of our weaknesses, but it also serves as a powerful reminder of where true strength can be found. According to Psalm 62:11, "Strength comes straight from God," which is a profound truth that we should never forget.

It's easy to believe that we have the ability to handle any situation, but fasting can help us realize that we need to depend on God to truly overcome. Jesus Himself declared in John 15:5, "Apart from me you can do nothing," and the Apostle Paul reminds us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

So, as you fast, keep in mind that God has all the strength you need. As you seek Him, you will experience His strength flowing into your life in a new and powerful way. Even if you feel weak during this time, know that He is making you stronger each day. Don't miss out on the amazing transformation that can take place when you rely on God's strength!

Psalms 62:11 Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God,

Psalms 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.
