WCN Pastor Search Prayer Requests

- Week of 22 March 2021 -

Dear WCN friends,

I am so very grateful that prayers for a pastor are being answered with the candidate now being proposed!  Much still has to happen before we have a pastor in place but God is progressing towards that end.  Will you join me in praising Him that He answers prayers so wisely and graciously?  Here are the prayer requests for this week.  Thanks so much for praying:

  • Pray that each of us who attend WCN would diligently seek God's wisdom and will in prayer this week about our candidate becoming our next pastor - that God would give us clarity and peace as we vote.

  • Pray for our candidate and his wife as they await our vote - that God would continue to give them peace and contentment as they walk in obedience to whatever God has for them next.

  • Praise God for our candidate's excellent message - challenging us to fully understand and live in our identity as sons and daughters of the Living God.  Pray we would act in a way that shows we believe that and that God would continue to grow us in full understanding of it.

  • Praise that the Meet 'N Greet zoom call with our candidate and wife was so well attended and we got to get to know them better!

  • Pray for Joe Perry (28 Mar & 11 Apr) and the Kalispell Church of the Nazarene (we will attend here on 4 Apr for Easter Sunday) who will provide the messages the next three weeks - that the Word of God would be living and active in us; molding, changing and shaping us into Christlikeness.

  • Pray for the upcoming annual meeting on 28 Mar (will be held at WCN during the church service and also via zoom for those at home) where all church members will vote on the candidate and new Board members - that all voting members would attend the meeting in its entirety (so they can vote) and that the will of God would be fulfilled.

Mark 1:35 - "Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed."
