CONNECT & GROW
scouts
Christian character doesn't develop accidentally. How do we teach kids to become genuinely good people? For more than a century, the methods of scouting have been used to shape kids into men and women who make this world a better place. The Naz @ Whitefish is glad to offer the following scouting programs for your children and teens:
Boy Scouts of America Troop 17
"Where theory ends and reality begins!" Troop 17 is truly one of the finest Boy Scout troops in the nation. Using the laboratory of the great outdoors and high adventure, it offers boys 11-18 the opportunity to learn outdoors skills and Christian values, and to develop real-world leadership skills. Meets Tuesdays @ 7:00. Contact Scoutmaster Giuseppe Caltabiano at (775) 343-2809 or gcaltabiano@nxgen.com. Check out the Troop 17 website FMI (click here).
Cub Scouts of America Pack 4936
Our pack is a great introduction to scouting culture. Boys learn the values and basic skills of scouting. It meets Tuesdays @ 7:00 PM so that working dads can participate with their sons. Contact Cubmaster Frank Thompson at (406) 257-5739.
American Peeps!
Okay, it isn't exactly scouting, but it is a fun-filled program for helping girls to develop life skills and character. Contact Roxanne Reinke at 406-892-2735.
